We are looking for a friendly and reliable Midday Supervisor to join our team at Lift Montgomery Primary. You'll play an important role in supporting our pupils during lunchtime, helping to create a safe, inclusive and positive environment where every child feels supported.

About the role

As a Midday Supervisor, you'll supervise pupils across our dining and playground areas, encourage positive behaviour and help ensure lunchtimes run safely and smoothly.

You'll support pupils in developing positive social skills through play and interaction, while working closely with colleagues to support their wellbeing and address any concerns.

Key responsibilities

  • Encourage positive behaviour, play and respectful interactions
  • Support pupils' wellbeing and respond appropriately to concerns or incidents
  • Help maintain a safe, clean and well-organised lunchtime environment
  • Support lunchtime activities and work collaboratively with the wider school team

We are looking for someone who

You'll be positive, patient, and approachable, with experience supervising or caring for children and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils.

You'll be able to remain calm in a busy environment, use your initiative and communicate effectively with both pupils and colleagues. Previous experience working within a school or as a Midday Supervisor would be an advantage, but isn't essential.

Most importantly, you'll enjoy working with children and want to make their lunchtime experience a positive part of the school day.
