About the role
You'll plan and teach engaging lessons that build on what students already know and support them to master new concepts. You'll use assessment to understand how students are progressing, giving feedback that helps them move forward. Working closely with colleagues, pastoral staff, and parents, you'll create a positive learning space where everyone feels valued and supported. Key responsibilities
- Plan lessons with clear learning goals that challenge and engage all students
- Adapt your teaching to meet the needs of every learner, including those with SEND or EAL
- Use questioning and discussion to spark curiosity and deepen understanding
- Give regular feedback that helps students reflect on their progress
- Build a calm, respectful classroom where routines and behaviour support learning
We are looking for someone who
You'll have Qualified Teacher Status and a degree in a relevant subject. You'll understand what great teaching looks like and how to assess progress in meaningful ways. You'll be comfortable using IT and Google Workspace, and you'll bring good communication skills and a team-focused approach.
Just as important is who you are. You'll be adaptable, patient, and responsive to feedback. You'll show empathy for students and resilience when things get challenging. You'll be curious, open to new ideas, and committed to your own growth as a teacher. Ready to bring your skills and personality to a school that truly values both?
