Lift Montgomery Primary offers an excellent opportunity to join as a School Facilities Manager, playing a key role in ensuring the school site is safe, secure, and well-maintained every day.

Your new school

Lift Montgomery Primary is an outstanding school led by Principal Fozia Nisar, who has been part of the school community for over 10 years. Her long-standing commitment and leadership have helped establish a dedicated and enthusiastic team, with a strong culture of high expectations, collaboration and pride in the school. This consistent focus on excellence has contributed to Lift Montgomery Primary being graded Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted.

Your new role

The School Facilities Manager plays a vital role in the day-to-day running of the school, ensuring that the site operates safely and effectively at all times. The role operates on a shift basis, with two different shift patterns, and includes responsibility for responding to on-call call-outs when required.

You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly environment; carrying out minor repairs; managing site security; and overseeing on-site contractors, ensuring facilities are fit for purpose and ready to support learning.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have experience in premises, facilities, or building management, with a strong understanding of health and safety procedures and site security. You will be practical, organised, and proactive, able to carry out general repairs, safely move equipment, and follow instructions relating to equipment and materials.

A full driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role, as you will be required to travel and respond to on-call call-outs when necessary.
