About the role
You'll make sure our school is ready for staff and students each day. Your attention to detail will help create the right environment for learning, and you'll work closely with the School Operations Manager to keep everything running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Clean all areas of the school to an agreed standard, including sweeping, vacuuming, polishing and dusting
- Empty bins and replace hand towels, toilet rolls and soap as needed
- Complete deep cleaning during school closures
- Report any health and safety concerns or building issues to the School Operations Manager
- Use cleaning materials and equipment safely and correctly
We are looking for someone who
You don't need formal qualifications, but you'll have a practical approach and a keen eye for keeping things clean and tidy. Can you use your own initiative while also working well with others? We'll support you with training to make sure you feel confident in the role.
You'll be reliable, friendly and take pride in your work. You'll understand why creating a clean, safe space matters, especially in a school. Most importantly, you'll be committed to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of children and young people.
